New Mini32 version (402.53) is available.
It supports new Minikin V2i (two external voltage channels) and three-channel event recorder MicroLog ER3i. It introduces a file name prefix that helps to distinguish between files from different sites for instance.

Stem increment data can be graphically shifted up in order to get continuous line despite of mechanical resetting the sensor that reached the maximal range. GOOD NEWS! Decagon has accepted the problem with 10HS
soil sensors caused probably by a defective electronic part. The company promised to replace all faulty sensors with new units. All our customers are encouraged to ask for sensor replacement.

Decagon 10HS sensors problem.
Recently, we register more and more complains of our customers for sensor malfunction. At the moment we are discussing with Czech local distributor if there is not a manufacturing issue. All users are kindly asked to check the data set thoroughly. In case of strange patterns please remove the wrong sensors and send is to us as soon as possible. Please note that since those sensors are often connected to the powering voltage together with next sensors, the other sensors might be influenced by increased 10HS power consumption, too.
Problém s čidly půdní vlhkosti Decagon 10HS.
V současné době registrujeme více stížností našich zákazníku ohledně vadné funkce 10HS, která se projeví pár měsíců po instalaci. Vstoupili jsme v jednání s dovozcem ohledně podezření na výrobní vadu. Prosíme naše zákazníky, aby si důkladně prohlédli záznamy s těchto čidel a v případě podezření ze špatné funkce čidla vykopali a poslali k nám na reklamaci. POZOR: V mnoha případech jsou 10HS napájena společně s dalšími čidly (typicky teplota a vlhkost vzduchu) a porucha 10HS, spojená obvykle se zvýšeným proudovým odběrem ze zdroje, ovlivní funkci všech takových čidel.

Note for DRL26 users:
Units with serial number lower than 8008280 could have a problem with moisture inside. Concerned users are recommended to return dendrometers to manufacturer for free improvement of sealing. Upgrade is easy to recognize after the stainless steel ring over the white lid.

NEW! Datalogger EdgeBox 12 available.
12 Voltage channels, two counters. Special excitation output activated in averaging intervals only.
This output is intended for powering sensors measuring slowly changing variables or for power demanding sensors. Typical example is measurement of solar radiation and soil moisture with the same datalogger. Radiation sensor output has to be measured more often (each minute) than soil moisture which changes more slowly. It also saves the batteries when soil sensors are not uselessly powered each measuring intervals but just in times of averaging and storing to datalogger memory.
